The 2012 ALGANT master and ALGANT doctorate selection is over. In the coming days every applicant will be informed by e-mail on the selection outcome.

Established in 2004, the ALGANT consortium now consists of eight universities on four continents, namely the universities of Bordeaux (France), Chennai (India), Leiden (Netherlands), Milano (Italy), Concordia (Montréal, Canada), Padova (Italy), Paris-Sud (France) and Stellenbosch (South Africa).

In collaboration with the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques, the Institut des Sciences Mathématiques in Montréal and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Cape Town, the consortium offers a two-year world-class integrated master course and a joint doctorate programme in pure mathematics, with a strong emphasis on Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory. Both programmes have received the Erasmus Mundus label.

The ALGANT master has been launched in 2004 and the ALGANT-DOC joint doctorate enrolled its first doctoral candidates in 2010, see ALGANT Master and ALGANT Doctorate.
