Travel information

  Bordeaux is a city located in the south-west of France and known for its good weather and wine! We have a decent sized airport and you may be able to fly directly here (airport link). You may find it cheaper to fly to Paris and take the train to Bordeaux (3 hours by TGV). We also mention that there are direct trains from the main airport in Paris (Roissy-Charles de Gaulle) to Bordeaux (4 hours) (train link).

  The conference will take place at the University of Bordeaux 1 in Talence, a town adjoining Bordeaux. It is easy to go back and forth between downtown and the University using buses and our new Tramway (see this website). You should get off at the stop "Forum" (for Tramway) or Peixoto (for buses) and look for the Building A33 which is located near the main entrance of the University (Here is a map of the University).
