ChennaiA discrete logarithm problem in elliptic curves.
RÉSUMÉ
In this talk, we explain the discrete log problem on elliptic curves. We give an overview of the method of Menezes-Okamoto-VanStone to reduce the elliptic curve discrete log problem to the classical discrete log problem using Weil Pairing and then discuss the question of the degree of the field of definition in the reduction.
