AugsburgL-values and integral Galois modules.
RÉSUMÉ
The talk begins with a short introduction into Iwasawa theory (which in fact has emerged from one of the first examples of naturally arising integral Galois modules), it next recalls Fröhlich's theory of rings of integers, and then turns to the Galois structure of global units, which will be put into relation to classical Iwasawa theory. The point is that all these structures are determined by L-values. As a matter of fact, a sketch of proof of the Strong Stark Conjecture in the cyclotomic case will be presented (without going into technical details).
