From the St Jean train station :
Take bus number 16, 23 or 34exp
to Place de la Victoire. Then take the streetcar (tramway), Line B,
direction
Bougnard. Get off at the "Forum" stop and
walk along Cours
de la Libération for 150 meters until you get to
the University main entrance (on your right
hand side).
The Mathematics Institute is located 50 meters away,
slightly
to the right of the bamboo grove
and duck pond (campus
plan).
From Gambetta square (Place
Gambetta) :
Take the streetcar (tramway), Line B, direction Bougnard.
Get off at the "Forum" stop and walk along Cours de la
Libération
for 150 meters until you get to the
University
main entrance (on your right hand side). The Mathematics Institute is
located
50 meters away, slightly to the
right
of the bamboo grove and duck pond (campus
plan).
From Bordeaux-Merignac airport
There is a shuttle bus every 45
minutes during the daytime (until 10 45 pm, except on Saturdays, until
10
pm). One way ticket 6,60 euros, round trip 11,20 euros (more détails
here - this is an unstable site, keep clicking until the page
loads). Take the
shuttle to Place Gambetta, then follow instructions above.

By Car
- From the North
(Paris, Nantes, A10
motorway...), take the "rocade Est" (East Side ring road) towards Toulouse (exit 1), then exit 16 (Talence, Domaine
Universitaire). Drive along Cours de la Libération to no.
351 (on
your left hand side after the Casino shopping center, the university
entrance
will be across the street from the Talence City Hall park).
- From the South-East
(Toulouse, Narbonne,
Perpinyà), take the "rocade" (ring road) towards Bayonne, then exit 16 (Talence,
Domaine Universitaire). Drive along Cours de la Libération
to no. 351 (on your left hand side after the Casino shopping center,
the
university entrance will be across the street from the Talence City
Hall
park).
- From the South (Bayonne,
Donostia), take the "rocade" (ring road) towards Toulouse, Paris,
then exit 16 (Talence, Domaine Universitaire). Make a left to cross
over the freeway. Drive along Cours de la Libération
to no. 351 (on your left hand side after the Casino shopping center,
the
university entrance will be across the street from the Talence City
Hall
park).
