This presentation is an introduction to global sensitivity analysis, a statistical tool which can be used in complex phenomenon modeling, namely in chemical processes. Main estimation indices and classical estimation methods will be first introduced, and discussion about the application of bootstrap methods and Metropolis algorithms into our field of interest will be then carried on.
