Inria Research Team MONC

Welcome to my webpage!

I am senior research scientist (Directeur de Recherche) at Inria Bordeaux-Sud Ouest, head of the research team MONC previsouly led by Dr. Olivier Saut . Between 2017 and 2019, I led the Inria associate team Num4SEP, which gathered F.Gibou's research group at UCSB and the team MONC on HPC strategies for spheroids electroporation.

Research Profile

My research first dealt with asymptotic analysis of singular or asymptotically singular domains for electromagnetism. Since 2008, I work on the mathematical modeling of electroporation as cancer treatment at Inria Bordeaux in the research team MONC. This subject with a high potential impact on cancer treatments combines electric field and biological tissue modeling. I am also involved in cell migration and tumor spheroid modeling and more generally in cancer growth modeling.

My work mainly lies in the field of applied and computational mathematics, with effective applications in biophysics and medicine.
