"Sors bona, nihil aliud!"

My name is Krisztian Benyo (I have omitted the accents for the reader's convenience), I am currently doing my PhD at the University of Bordeaux. I have the pleasure of working under the supervision of David Lannes and Franck Sueur on various topics concerning the vast field of fluid structure interactions. Originally I started my PhD thesis work on the topic of the interaction between waves and floating structures; I am actually working on the mathematical description of submerged structures in the well-known water waves equation case, as well as the multi-scale assymptotical behaviour of a small object in a fluid described by the Euler equation, with the consideration of rotation and vorticity.
