High-Order Spectral Volume Method for Conservation Laws

A new high-order finite-volume method named spectral volume method will be presented. Compared with a k-exact high-order finite volume method, the spectral volume method is much more efficient, since the data reconstruction is performed analytically. Numerical examples will be presented to demonstrate the capability of the spectral volume method.
