I was born in Bergamo, Italy, on the 9th of November 1990.

I grew up in a beautiful small village between the rivers and the hills of the province of Bergamo, called Villa d'Adda.

After getting my diploma at Liceo Scientifico Statale Lorenzo Mascheroni in Bergamo, I attended the bachelor course in Mathematics at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca (Milan). I then joined the ALGANT master program, spending one year at Università degli Sudi di Padova and one at Université de Bordeaux, where I got my master degree in 2014.

During my master thesis, I started being attracted by the beautiful interplay between algebraic geometry and convex geometry. This condemned me to a PhD, which I'm carrying on between Université de Bordeaux and Universitat de Barcelona, under the wise and patient supervision of Prof. Alain Yger and Prof. Martín Sombra.
