Finite polynomial orbits in certain rational and quadratic rings
Résumé:
It is known that there are
limitations on the size and numbers of finite polynomial orbits in finitely
generated rings.
The talk will concern the ways in which one can construct explicit lists of
such orbits in certain rings and how this is related to exponential
diophantine equations.
