In this talk we'll study the basic properties (representation theorems, boundary behaviour, etc.) of analytic operator-valued functions from Caratheodory class. Some applications to the Volterra operators theory, scattering theory, Riesz-Titchmarsh transforms, etc. will be discussed if time permits.
