A research engineer at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux, Sandrine Layrisse plays a key role in the organisation and management of computer engineering dedicated to mathematics. In particular, she is director of the Mathrice thematic network, which provides tools for the entire French mathematics community through the online platform for mathematics, which will be awarded the collective Crystal Medal in 2021. Sandrine Layrisse is working on the national structuring of digital services in mathematics, while coordinating the work of around twenty people. Her career has been marked by strong involvement in collective projects, illustrating her constant commitment to local IT that is consistent with the needs of laboratories. She is currently taking part in the European EOSC LUMEN project, while passing on her know-how to new generations of network experts.
