The reduction of singularities of codimension one foliations is known in the cases of ambient spaces of dimension two (Seidenberg 1968) and three (Cano 2004). However, in greater dimension there are no global results. Following the ideas of Zariski in this work we obtain local uniformization of codimension one foliations in ambient spaces of arbitrary dimension in the case of rational archimedean valuations.
