Lambda-operations via non-commutative motives..

We discuss a possible construction of Lambda-operations on the algebraic K-theory space of a symmetric monoidal, stable Q-linear infinity-category using representability of the algebraic K-theory functor in a suitable category of noncommutative motives. As an introduction to these ideas we first give a new construction of the Lambda-operations on K_0.
