M2 Internship / Final-Year Project — Active Flux Methods

A Master’s 2 internship is available on the development and analysis of Active Flux numerical methods for partial differential equations. The project will combine theoretical analysis, numerical method development, and computational implementation, with a particular focus on prospects involving non-hyperbolic equations, connections with finite element methods, and stability. The internship will take place at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux (IMB) and may provide excellent preparation for a PhD.
